We are delighted to be able to inform you that as of 5th December 2018, we have received confirmation that INAB (Irish National Accreditation Board) has granted BRE Global Ireland’s accreditation as a certification body to ISO/IEC 17065 with respect to the Construction Products Regulation (CPR), Marine Equipment Directive (MED) and Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) for products placed on the European market. This is hugely important with the next step being designation by the Irish Government as a Notified Body and a Technical Assessment Body and recognition by the European Union.
As we have stated from those days following the BREXIT vote, BRE Global Ltd remains fully committed to our Customers and to providing the support that they require to deliver products to the market and maintain their CE marking for their products.
We have written to all of our clients shortly to inform them of the next steps. If you have not heard from us and you have CE marking certificates with us or have any specific concerns or questions, please speak with your usual BRE contact. We are here to help and work with you through this period of uncertainty to make the transition as simple and easy as possible.
Please note that LPCB approved products and services will remain completely unaffected.
