Following the success of last year's event, BRE and the Institution of Fire Engineers are hosting a one-day workshop, offering delegates the chance to:
- Update on this years' fire research and engineering thinking - with presentations including developments to fire safety in schools (including the new Building Bulletin 100) and the role of sprinklers.
- Gain information on research and reports from fire investigation organisations.
- Discuss the lessons learnt from real fires with fire investigators and research scientists - providing important input into new and ongoing research activity
- Tour BRE fire research facilities including the Burn Hall and Furnace Labs
