Promoting your LPCB Certification

To promote your certification to those that are responsible for the design, specification and purchase of your newly certificated product, please find following some suggestions in which to display your certification mark.

Website

On your website the LPCB mark can used as a 'click' through to the Red Book Live website as a direct link to your page showing your product/service certification details.

 

Stationery

Certification marks may be used on letterheads, brochures and any publicity material that is directly related to the products, personnel or services that appear on the corresponding certificate.

For the certification marks containing the UKAS accreditation mark, the following should apply:

a) the minimum height of the crown and tick element is 20mm

b) the maximum height of the crown and tick element is 30mm on an unfolded A4 document.

 

Media/Advertising

Certification marks may be used on any publicity material that is directly related to the products, personnel or services that appear on the corresponding certificate.

 

Presentations

When meeting a client the certification mark applicale to your product or service can be used in your presentation to illustrate your certification to a potential client.

 

Exhibition Panels

Display your certification mark on exhibition materials, to illustrate your certification accreditaton.

 

Sales Literature/ Brochures

Display your certification mark on your sales literature and brochures in order to highlight the accreditation of your product or service.

 

FREQUENTLY ASKED CERTIFICATION MARK QUESTIONS 

 

Should I always use the 'assessed to' and certification number?

Yes.  The relevant 'Assessed to' standard and reference number must always appear on the certified product and its packaging underneath the certification mark.

 

Can I use the certfication mark on my promotional items?

Yes.  As shown in the examples above.

 

Can I use the UKAS mark on my promotional materials?

No, the UKAS mark cannot be used on all promotional materials.  The UKAS accreditation mark may not be used on vehicles, buildings, banners and pennants.  See above within stationery for where the UKAS mark may be used.

 

Use of the Certification Marks Document - PN 103

The certification marks are the property of BRE Global Ltd, and their use is subject to the conditions set out in section 2 and 3 of the document PN 103, which will have been provided to you with your certification mark.
